The study looked at how people feel about female leaders running for president in the 2024 election. They used surveys in 34 provinces in Indonesia. Women tend to support female candidates, while some men are unsure about women as leaders. Younger people are more open to female leaders, while older people are more traditional. People with higher incomes are more likely to support female candidates. Changing views of the younger generation, increasing gender awareness, and better education can help break gender stereotypes. Society's opinion of women leaders is influenced by gender, age, and income. It's important to change these views for gender equality and to judge leaders based on their abilities, not their gender.
