Trusted authorities can shift attitudes on LGBTQ rights in Ghana
In Ghana, messages supporting LGBTQ rights from trusted authorities like traditional and co-partisan leaders have a small impact on changing public attitudes. However, messages from religious leaders do not seem to make a difference. This study shows that different types of endorsements can influence how people feel about LGBTQ rights in African societies.
