The study looked at how using Duolingo affects English learners' willingness to communicate and engagement in online classes. They compared two groups of EFL students and found that Duolingo significantly improved engagement in different areas like emotions, thinking, and actions. The experimental group showed better language attitudes, engagement, and confidence compared to the control group. Overall, Duolingo helped students speak, read, write, understand, and communicate better. The study suggests that teachers should consider using Duolingo to enhance language learning.
