Hyperscale AI is being integrated into defense modeling and simulation to improve strategic and operational capabilities. The United States and China are leading in adopting these technologies. Challenges include closed networks, data issues, decision-making complexity, and a lack of experts. To maximize hyperscale AI, countries should use domestic models, invest in GPUs/NPUs, utilize big tech services, and open source software. These steps will enhance national security, maintain competitive advantages, and promote technological progress. The Republic of Korea can strengthen its defense capabilities by following this blueprint.
