Campylobacter spp. found in poultry meat sold at retail shops.
The researchers checked for harmful bacteria in poultry meat and slaughterhouses. They looked at samples from 5 slaughterhouses and meat sold in stores. They found no harmful bacteria in the slaughterhouses, but some meat had Campylobacter jejuni and Campylobacter coli.
