Public sector reforms in Denmark, Norway, and the UK have been influenced by New Public Management ideas. Recent hospital reforms in these countries have not limited MPs from questioning hospital matters. The impact of these reforms on political-administrative relations and democratic authority allocation was analyzed. The involvement of MPs in hospital-related issues remains unaffected by managerialist reforms.
