This paper discusses how urban planning can integrate different types of land use and densities to create sustainable cities. Sustainable urban development is important, and urban density plays a key role in sustainability. Compact urban neighborhoods with higher density have lower environmental impacts and support sustainable transport. This approach is successful in reducing environmental impacts compared to sprawling suburbs.
