Food insecurity is a big issue in Haiti, especially in rural areas. A study looked at how raising livestock can help small farmers have enough food. They found that households with more livestock were more likely to have enough food. Families with lots of animals also made more money from selling them. Families with enough food also produced more milk. This shows that having animals can help small farmers have enough to eat and make money.
