The study looked at transportation data in Cartagena De Indias to compare different modes of travel. By using probit and conditional logit models, researchers found that people prefer other transportation options over buses because they have shorter travel times and less waiting time. Surprisingly, when travel times and costs are equal, people still prefer taking the bus over other alternatives.
