The article discusses how vehicle lighting affects road safety in low visibility conditions. It looks at accidents in different weather and light situations. The study defines terms like headlamp illumination distance and visibility distance, important for recognizing obstacles in poor visibility. Through experiments, specific values for these distances were determined and evaluated numerically and graphically.
