Pressurized coal feeding system revolutionizes energy production, reduces emissions and costs.
In this study, researchers developed a coal-feeding system for pressurized setups that stops gas from flowing backwards, making it easier to control coal feeding automatically. The system can handle high coal rates under pressures up to 1,500 psig without releasing harmful gases or coal dust into the air. It helps enhance the working conditions while saving energy, and it can be adjusted for different gasifier and liquefaction processes.
