Sorghum Breakthrough: Boosting Yields and Nutrition for Rainfed Farmers
A study was done to see how different types of mustard plants grow in soil with varying levels of sulfur. The Bio-902 variety of mustard showed the best growth and highest yields compared to other varieties like RH-8812 and CS-52. Bio-902 had more seeds and plant material, and its seeds were heavier. Adding 90 kg of sulfur per hectare made all the mustard plants grow better and produce more seeds and plant material, except for seed weight, which only increased up to 60 kg of sulfur per hectare.
