The article examines whether the ASEAN-Korea Free Trade Area (AKFTA) is a good idea. They looked at it in two ways: by thinking about how economic integration works, and by using a computer model to see what might happen. The results show that AKFTA could help trade between ASEAN countries and South Korea, but it's not a sure thing.
