The article examines how Hungarian agricultural trade changed after joining the EU, focusing on trade within the industry. The study found that EU accession increased trade connections but worsened the trade balance. Hungarian agricultural exports became less concentrated by country and product, while imports became more concentrated by country. Trade between Hungary and EU-15 countries is mostly between different industries, but intra-industry trade is becoming more important.
