The article examines how the economy in Belize affects poverty levels. It looks at which sectors of the economy impact poverty the most, and how vulnerable people are affected. The main findings suggest that to reduce poverty, policies should focus on making people less vulnerable to economic changes and helping the extremely poor build up their assets.
