Coastal waters facing rising temperatures and salinity levels, impacting marine life.
The researchers studied the marine environment in coastal waters for stationary fisheries. They found that water temperatures were higher in Jindong Bay compared to Masan Bay in August and November. Salinity levels were lowest in the western part of Jindong Bay, gradually increasing towards Masan Bay. Masan Bay had lower temperatures and higher salinity than Jindong Bay. Suspended solids were higher in the inner parts of Jindong Bay in August, with contrasting distributions in November. Chemical oxygen demand was highest in Masan Bay.
