New naturally colored cotton hybrids show record-breaking yield potential.
A study looked at 21 different types of naturally brown cotton plants to see how well they grew. They found that some hybrids had better results than their parents, especially in producing more cotton and bigger bolls. Two hybrids, AKHC-39 x AKHC-4 and AKHC-46 x AKHC-7, showed the most promise for producing high-quality cotton.
