Streamflow data from rivers in the Ossiomo River catchment was analyzed to understand water resources. Groundwater contributes over 70% of total flow, reducing flood risks. The Benin Formation has significant groundwater reserves for development. The Ikhowan River has potential for small hydropower with an average flow of 5.5 m3/s. These findings provide insights into the water resources potential of the Ossiomo River catchment and other similar rivers on the Benin Formation.
