Accessible agriculture education is crucial for rural development in Nepal. Properly trained farmers and agriculture graduates are essential for improving agriculture and reducing poverty in rural areas. Despite challenges like insufficient land and food insecurity, Nepal has potential for commercial farming and agricultural growth. To achieve this, the government must prioritize providing affordable agriculture education to students from farming backgrounds. Simply formulating policies is not enough; practical education and skilled workforce are necessary for sustainable development. Expanding agricultural services and involving private sectors are also key in addressing food insecurity.
