The study looked at how job characteristics affect hotel employees' feelings of support from their organization, their commitment to the organization, and their behavior as good citizens in the workplace. The researchers found that job characteristics have a positive impact on perceived organizational support, organizational commitment, and organizational citizenship behavior. Additionally, support from the organization positively influences commitment, and commitment positively influences citizenship behavior.
