Hydrogen Peroxide Reduces Bromate Formation in Drinking Water Ozonation.
The study compared using ozone alone versus combining ozone with hydrogen peroxide to see which method is better at reducing bromate formation in drinking water. The researchers found that adding hydrogen peroxide to the ozone system decreased bromate levels compared to using ozone alone. However, higher ratios of hydrogen peroxide to ozone led to increased bromate levels, although they were still lower than in the ozone-only system.
