The article explores the economic benefits of improving rural landscapes in Ireland. By using a mixed logit model, the researchers calculated how much individuals are willing to pay for these improvements. They found that this method provides more detailed and accurate estimates compared to traditional approaches. Additionally, random-effects models were used to determine what factors influence how much each person is willing to pay for landscape enhancements.
