The study looked at stormwater quality in an arid urban area in Iraq. They used a computer model to predict pollution levels in stormwater and sewage. After rain, the levels of BOD 5 and TSS in the stormwater increased a lot, with TSS increasing more than BOD 5. The researchers believe that long-term simulations can help plan better ways to treat sewage and reduce pollution in the area.
