The article designs a reconfigurable manufacturing system using axiomatic design principles. It breaks down the system into levels and uses specific equations for each step. The functional structure table summarizes the design process. The information content of the system is calculated for different design scenarios. The study identifies and provides solutions for problems related to independence and information in axiomatic design.
