Construction projects are getting more complex, making it crucial for project management to improve. A new model was created using a three-dimensional perspective, combining existing practices and lessons from the 2010 Shanghai Expo. This model assesses maturity in three areas: project breakdown structure, processes, and organizational systems. By using a structured questionnaire based on best practices, project owners can measure their maturity level. Testing this model at the Shanghai Expo showed that project management maturity can be effectively assessed and improved by project owners.
