Carbon nanotubes rival graphite in thermal conduction, paving way for faster electronics!
Scientists measured the thermal diffusivity of single-walled carbon nanotube forests using the laser flash method. These nanotubes have excellent electrical and thermal conduction properties. The researchers successfully measured the thermal diffusivity of the nanotubes and found that they have similar thermal properties to isotropic graphite.
