Gender pay gap in urban China underestimated, women's education pays off more
The study looked at how education affects income in urban China. They used two methods to analyze the data: one that doesn't consider all factors, and one that does. The results showed that the method that considers all factors found higher income benefits from education for both men and women. Men generally earn more from education than women, but when all factors are considered, women actually benefit more from education than men in urban China.
