The researchers studied how adding an extra basin to a solar still can improve its performance. They tested single and double basin solar stills of the same size in the same weather conditions. By varying the amount of water in each basin, they found that the double basin still produced 85% more water than the single basin still. The results from both theory and experiments matched closely, showing that adding an extra basin can significantly increase productivity.
