New Micro Mirror Spectrometer Revolutionizes Cost-Effective Near-IR Analysis!
Scientists have developed a new compact and cost-effective spectrometer using micro mirror technology. The spectrometer has a resolution of 10nm and can analyze wavelengths from 900nm to 1400nm. A scanning micro mirror controlled by electromagnetic force is the key component. By calibrating the mirror and using a silicon slit to reduce costs, the system was tested with light correction filters, showing a resolution of 16.8nm. The relationship between scanning characteristics and spectral resolution was also discussed.
