Researchers have developed different methods and software tools to help with this, but most tools focus on detailed design rather than the initial concept. However, recent advancements in technology have allowed researchers to address challenges in conceptual design more effectively. This special issue discusses various aspects of conceptual design, from capturing the designer's ideas to solving design problems efficiently.
