Unbalanced data no longer a problem for efficiency analysis
The study looked at how to accurately measure the efficiency of different groups of data using a method called DEA. They found that using a resampling technique can help avoid errors in determining efficiency, especially when dealing with unbalanced data sets. By comparing results from standard DEA with those from resampling DEA, they showed that the resampling method is more reliable for testing efficiency. This means that using resampling can give more accurate results when analyzing data.
