New Study Reveals Risks of Implementing ERP Systems in Chinese Enterprises

The article explores how different levels of integration in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems affect global and local implementation strategies. Through a study with 102 ERP professionals, it was found that system-specification and organizational integration are key for local ERP systems, while system-specification and socio-organizational integration are crucial for global ERP services. These factors explain 44% and 52% of ERP adoptions in the respective user groups.
