Hands-on enterprise system boosts student performance in business education
The study looked at whether using a computer-based enterprise system helps students learn business process concepts better. They compared three teaching methods: traditional lecture, lecture with hands-on enterprise system exercises, and lecture with simulated hands-on exercises. The group using simulated hands-on exercises performed significantly better than the control group. Other differences were not significant, but the study suggests that using simulated hands-on exercises can be beneficial for learning in this environment.
