Cryopreserving and transplanting ovarian tissue is a successful method for preserving fertility in cancer patients. The technique involves removing ovarian tissue, freezing it, and then transplanting it back if needed. This approach has resulted in six live births and ongoing pregnancies. It is a new but effective option for selected cancer patients to consider for preserving their fertility.
