Improved 2D Interpretation Reveals Detailed Subsurface Geology in Greece.
A study in Greece used a special method called vertical electrical sounding to look underground in the Sarantaporon basin. They collected a lot of data and used a computer program to make 2D pictures of what's under the ground. These pictures matched up well with what they already knew about the area from drilling. The new images helped them learn more about the rocks and structures deep below the surface. This technique could be really helpful for studying big areas and finding out more about the Earth's layers.
