Climate change threatens unique bryophyte species in western Norway.
The study looked at different types of moss on rocks in western Norway to see how they are affected by the environment. They found that the main factor influencing the moss was the overall climate, but the specific environmental factors they measured didn't explain much of the differences between the moss types. The moss groups they identified were mostly similar to each other, except for those found in wet areas. Overall, the different types of moss they studied seem to have similar ecological preferences.
