The study compared slow freezing and vitrification methods for preserving rabbit embryos. Both methods had similar effects on embryo development up to Day 6, but vitrification led to better implantation and birth rates. Gene expression patterns were also similar between the two methods. Further research is needed to understand how these techniques may affect fetal development and adulthood.
