In this study, researchers used USLE and GIS to figure out how much soil is lost each year in Upper South Koel basin. They looked at factors like land shape, soil type, and rainfall to estimate erosion. The results showed that the area loses about 12.2 tons of soil per hectare each year. This information can help decide where to focus on preventing erosion.
