Flow and sediment movement in river networks are crucial for delta and coastal environments. A model was created to simulate water flow and sediment transport in distributary channels. By solving equations, the model accurately predicts water levels, discharges, and sediment concentrations in the Pearl River networks. This model can help understand and manage sediment movement in river systems.
