Waste Coal Transformed into Clean Fuel, Reducing Pollution and Emissions
The article discusses a method to create clean coal briquettes using coal waste and coal slurry. By adding binders and a mixture of calcium hydroxide and coal fly ash, the strength of the briquettes and their ability to retain sulfur were greatly improved. The results showed that the wet strength and falling strength of the briquettes reached 99%, while the sulfur retention was about 55.41%.
