A new model called NSBEACH was used to study how Bilinga beach on the Southern Gold Coast in Australia recovered after sand was added to the shore. The model successfully simulated both erosion during storms and the beach's recovery over 8 months. This study shows that the model can predict how beaches change over time, including when sand is added to help them grow.
