New study reveals impact of entitlement on psychopathy and self-esteem
The study looked at entitlement in young people and found that there are two types: exploitive entitlement and non-exploitive entitlement. Exploitive entitlement is linked to negative traits like psychopathy and neuroticism, while non-exploitive entitlement is connected to higher self-esteem. The researchers used questionnaires to gather data from 466 college students and discovered that both types of entitlement were related to a general sense of entitlement, but had different associations with other personality traits.
