Climate model predicts significant warming and increased precipitation variability in Iberian Peninsula
The study used a computer model to see how the climate in the Iberian Peninsula would change with double the amount of CO2 in the air. They found that the region would get warmer, especially in winter and autumn, and that there would be more variability in rainfall. Cloud cover also played a big role in how much the temperature changed from year to year. The model showed that the climate would be different in the future if CO2 levels keep rising.
