Sustainable Urban Design Transforms Stormwater Management, Improves Water Quality in Cities
Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) is a sustainable way to manage water in cities. It focuses on using natural methods like grassy areas and basins to control stormwater. By doing this, cities can reduce the need for big, expensive drainage systems. In Kogarah Municipal Council, WSUD was used to improve water quality in bays. The results showed that WSUD can help make water cleaner and healthier for the environment.
