The abstention rate in French elections has been increasing for the past twenty years. In France, citizens must actively register to vote, and those who don't are considered non-registered voters. Non-registered voters differ from abstentionists in several ways. The study aims to understand the reasons behind electoral non-registration and the characteristics of sensitive neighborhoods in France.
