A new type of wavelet has been developed that outperforms many existing wavelets. This new wavelet is symmetric, has zero mean, and can accurately reconstruct signals in both continuous and discrete wavelet transformations. It is especially effective in analyzing biological data and is expected to improve the analysis of various statistical data in different fields.
