A software synthesis tool called SOFTEXSHELL was created to help software engineers build programs more efficiently. It includes a system for transforming code, a language for defining rules, and a way to check if the rules are correct. Two specialists used SOFTEXSHELL to make a software system for switching services, even though they had no experience with software synthesis. They finished the project in eight months and have since used it to develop six switching systems. The tool was found to be effective in helping engineers create useful and efficient software systems without prior experience in software synthesis.
