A lightweight fuel cell stack was created to power a small drone. It has 33 cells and weighs 3.485 kg. The stack can produce up to 248 W of power at 13.2 V and 71.3°C with a certain amount of methanol. Testing showed that the cell voltages are stable, with a maximum deviation of 28 mV at 15 A. This shows that fuel cell technology can be used for small drones.
