Global climate change is a big issue, and Lebanon is working on tracking and reducing greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture. A recent inventory showed that agriculture contributes about seven percent of total emissions. The study suggests ways to cut these emissions based on the country's specific characteristics. It also looks at the costs and uncertainties involved in estimating emissions and suggests policy changes to help reduce emissions from agriculture.
