The study looked at how climate change will affect temperatures in the Thames River Basin in Canada. They used a method called statistical downscaling to predict future temperatures based on global climate models. The results show that maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to increase in the future, especially under the A2 scenario. The downscaling model was able to accurately simulate local temperatures from larger-scale weather data.
